Diving in Sudan is a discovery, a marvel and an adventure. Most of the reefs are untouched. You will not only admire a great variety of species, but also an abundance of fish in an intact ecosystem. Are you interested in drop-offs, plateaus or coral gardens? In drift-, wreck- or night-diving? Would you like to take photographs or feel like an explorer? Sudan offers something special for every diver. Both, legendary reefs like Shaab Rumi, Sanganeb and Angarosh, and the wreck of the Umbria, all became famous through Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Hans Hass. Other reefs, some of which are still unnamed, are highlights of a diving safari, too. Very rarely you will meet other divers underwater; the ship is often the only one at the diving point.
